Johanesburg Park Station is the largest transport hub in South Africa, serving over 100 thousand passengers a week.

STRATESA people were engaged as site supervisor, lead project manager, and design manager for an R800m refurbishment of the station. This included developing a masterplan, upgrades to the main concourse, bus ticketing and waiting areas, and upgrades to the ablutions. The construction delivery was complex and challenging due to time constraints, and the health and safety considerations of delivery in a live environment.
